The opening narration sets the whole story in one small town. However the footage that is showed is from Klagenfurt, while the movie was mostly filmed in Velden, a town 23km away on the other side of Lake Woerthersee.

(1971), which was released in the same year and was also filmed at Lake Wörthersee. Later Chris Roberts and Heidi Hansen were also starring in Immer Ärger mit Hochwürden (1972), the sequel to this movie.
