- It is implied many times that a girl has sex with her older brother. This is shown in quite a few episodes.
- A girl is shown naked a few times, however, her long hair usually covers her breasts and genital area.

- Swordfighting is a frequent practice in the series but injuries are almost nonexistant.
- In an arc, people get swords taken from their chests. No blood at all but screamings of pain can be heard.
- Various characters are slapped in the face over the duration of the series.
- A man is slashed with a sword across his chest. There is no blood and you can't see the cut on his body.
Profanity

- There is rare use of some mild/moderate profanity in the series; one memorable use of "son of a bitch" in episode 23, "damn", "hell". (English dub)

- The series gets dark and intense. The show covers themes on abuse both sexual and emotional. Main villain in general sexual manipulates people to do his bidden. And it doesn't help the fact the people he slept with were minors.
- A young child wishes to die after her parents died. She expresses pessimistic phrases as well.
- A man forces to kiss with a lesbian character.
- At times, the series can get dark and disturbing. For example, as mentioned in the "Violence and Gore" section, a girl gets impaled with hundreds of swords. It is a very disturbing scene.
