Very popular series about a priest who falls in love and must choose between the ecclesiastic career and the girl. Set against the backdrop of spectacular greek landscapes, the series raises a set of questions about love, relationships and life. The soundtrack also became an instant hit. At a certain point in your life, you realise that life in itself has no meaning anymore without the most important person next to you. That's when important decisions have to be made. Careful planning and fancy words are all thrown to the bin, and give way to raw and redempting feelings. I love you nat.

One of the Best TV Series ever made in Greece , Excellent

I am a person that is very hard to view these kind of TV Series . But this was something unique . It premiered on Monday, October 5, 1998 and was completed in 31 episodes, with 45 minutes on each episode . It was one of the most successful television programs of that time, with each episode receiving high Rate, reaching up to 45%. Many may think that this TV Series was something like the Old Thorn Birds.

Story was not like the Thorn Birds . It was Very Different . I will not add any spoilers on this TV Series.

The series was played in Zagorochoria, where Despina (Theophania Papathoma) lived, who loved painting and dreamed of attending the School of Fine Arts in Athens. However, due to some problems in her life, Father John (Stavros Zalmas) Tried to Help Despina with her problems with the result of a Strong Carmic attraction between them. Excellent Casting , Photography, Scenario and Acting . All actors Deserve more than 10 Stars . I suggest people to view this series . I am a Person that DO NOT LIKE DRAMA , i do not watch Drama But i am open in Good Series with Real Meaning and Good Acting that bring you in front of the screen .
