Sex & Nudity

  • Mario is Missing SNES version is notable for depicting uncensored nudity. While visiting Rome At the Sistine Chapel, Luigi gets his picture taken of the the Sistine Chapel Ceiling, in the picture there is a painting by Michelangelo called "The Creation of Adam" a naked man reaching out to god a naked man and a naked women. It's unknown how this got past in the Nintendo Censorship era in this official Mario and Luigi game which are known for family friendly games.

Violence & Gore

  • You jump on the koopas and they get destroyed.
  • You stomp on the Koops's head in the boss's area.

Profanity

  • There's no profanity in the SNES version, However the use of the word "God", "Gods" is used in the game including the the use of "Jesus Christ" which was unusual as Nintendo didn't allow religious references during the Nintendo censorship era.
