Poorly made, insulting gay porn
I have Something Weird Video to thank for preserving this, and many other, deserve-to-be-forgotten porn films from back in the day. The untalented filmmaker "S.J. Kaye" strikes again - XXX footage at its worst.
Hook here is having guys dressed up in ill-fitting military school outfits, and we watch them hump. No thought was put into the production, evidently ground out to fill the bill at undiscriminating "all-male" houses as they were called once upon a time.
Not listed in the cast but certainly the only draw here is Jack Wrangler, as a guy on a park bench who has a threesome with two of the cadets. Even his footage is ruined by the filmmaker's very crude use of a technique which has ruined many an already poor movie. Film is shot MOS, but dialog is randomly (and sometimes way, way out of sync) dubbed in later, not like the modern dubbing we associate with foreign films but rather a looser approach. It is the verbal equivalent of musical "mickey mousing" where the aural track mimics or repeats what the eye sees.
So if someone fumbles with a zipper or shoe in clothing removal for sex, the person's imputed voice is heard saying something moronic like "oops, I need new shoes" or the like. Had I been foolish enough to have been sitting in a Gay Cinema crummy enough to exhibit this movie, I would certainly have hit the exit after a few minutes of this noise pollution - there's no mute button in a theater.
Other performers besides Wrangler make zero impression - they might as well have signed up for loop service. In fact the net effect of CADETS is that of watching a loop that has overstayed its welcome by an hour.
