Splendid and underrated film.

I discovered this gem back in 1991, nearly thirty years ago. I remember the theater was empty except me. I still don't get why this feature has no comment. It seems to be a Canadian French film, adapted from Hugo pratt cartoon work. The tale of an anti hero, an Half Indian half White, disguised as a Canadian Mounted Police horseman and who brings his justice in the wasteland of the Canadian, the deep Canadian wilderness. The narrator is an eagle which brings the off voice and explains what's going on. You can see it as an adventure western, set in outstanding settings of the great Canadian North. I prefered it to BLUEBERRY, another western inspired from a comic book too.; another mystical western starring Vincent Cassel. This movie I present now is pretty violent and in the mood of the late sixties and early seventies. very downbeat and certainly not for all audiences. Love it.
