Selma, a widowed and retired nurse, lives with Raimundo, her 24-year-old son, in a middle class neighborhood in Sao Paulo. Mother and son are very close. Their routine starts being disrupted, when Raimundo changes his behavior. Selma is jealous and fears that her son might have a girlfriend.
