This rare action thriller has been confused, because of re-titling and common actors, with L'uomo del colpo perfetto (1967), Blood and Diamonds (1977), Stoney (1969), and B.L. Stryker (1989). It is not of them.
The second version of the movie opens with a French statement in French, dated "Jura, Suisse, 1985". The voice off free translation says: «Since the beginning of time, the glitter of diamonds has blinded and fascinated men who pursue them to the point of madness, as if they had the power to solve all of life's problems. The tragic race for them, between Geneva and the Bosphorus, is peopled with ruthless merchants and ambitious men in the curse for the gems, avid of wealth and power.
