As stated in the book "The Ringo Starr Encyclopedia" by Bill Harry, it was Paul McCartney's idea to choose the three songs ("Private Property", "Attention" and "Sure to Fall") from Ringo's album in order to promote it. It was sent to the Cannes Film Festival in 1982 to compete in the Best Short category.
