the nuances
Kirpianuscus11 December 2018
The film represents the precise, nuanced and dark adaptation of the drama by Ion Luca Caragiale. And a part of the exploration of Alexa Visarion to explore the plays universe of the great Romanian author. The intensity is high and the performances, especially Anca of Dorina Lazar , is really admirable. A woman and her second husband. A teacher enloved by her. The memory of the murdered her first husband and the plain of revenge . A mad man. And the justice. That are the lead pieces of the theater play . But Visarion Alex explores , in wise manner, with high care, the complex nuances. Gestures, meetings and decisions, the shadows of fear and the last act. And the precision of performances. All giving force to a great play of Romanian literature.
