WELL done indie film not available on DVD
PASSION AND GASOLINE tells the story of a demented pyromaniac living and hiding in an abandoned big city warehouse. One day he decides to get a job to supplement his unemployment benefits so he can travel to Paris to set more fires. He gets a job in a grocery store where he meets an attractive girl who he reluctantly falls in love with.(...her father is a fireman!) His obsession with fire leads to murder and other nasty crimes. The twisted ending will not leave the viewer feeling burnt I can assure you. Good quality indie film-making that is very well shot by cinematographer Paul Sarossy.
I was told that the 16mm print I have is the only one in existence. The filmmaker Mark Forler could only afford to have one print made and he does not know where the negative ended up. I urge the filmmaker to contact us to confirm or deny this statement.
