This movie based on the novel of Bal Krishna Sam opens itself, showing the audiences as though it has done cent percent justice to the novel. But the movie gradually starts losing its grip, and the interest of the audience may be deviated once the movie has reached its fifty minutes. Reading the novel gives a feeling as if we are there, at the Durbar of Ranas, but the movie seems to complete its entire plot inside a room. Lots of melodramas, and irrational plots to make this movie boring, I would recommend it to only those who have read the novel. If you are willing to taste a bit of classical genre, this movie may be your taste. My personal rating: 4/10
