A must for anthropologists
olof-14 March 2002
A forlorn and isolated village, the light of the summer night, an Icelandic fan of Roy Rogers, a few drunk natives, and outdoor Christian rituals... This film is a unique documentary on a very peculiar cultural mixture. It is very funny, but yet somehow poignant... the Iceland rural villagers pointlessly ape what they take to be the greatest achievements of the Far West.
