Sex & Nudity

  • Islanders walk around without shirts.
  • Lulu, one of the main characters, has huge breasts and her cleavage can be seen.
  • A man forces a woman to kiss him. She does not like it at all and you see her fist clenching.
  • Some of the female characters wear somewhat revealing clothing. Shiva and Yunalesca appear half-naked, but no nudity is shown. The opening scene briefly shows a side character in a midriff-baring top.
  • A young man and a young woman kiss passionately in the middle of a lake (sex is not implied). The scene is meant to be emotional and romantic.

Violence & Gore

  • Sin, a giant snail like creature made of pure evil, kills many people in the game. It turns people into ashes with it fire breath, squishes people, releases monsters to attack people, and many many more.
  • A giant creature destroys others by shooting a beam from his eye. His eye is shown bleeding afterwards. The only part where there is blood (beside green goo and green mist from killing enemies).
  • As this is an action-adventure game, there is a lot of fantasy violence. However, there's little to no blood for the most part.
  • Whenever Yojinbo executes Zanmato, after the slash, enemy heads become decapacitated and blood pours out (though this is not in a realistic depiction).

Profanity

  • Words like "Damn", "Dammit", "Hellfire", "Hellbiter" is used throughout the game.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alcoholic bottles can be seen in the Luca Café.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Ghost of the dead continue to roam the world. Try to guess who is really dead when you play the game.
  • A zombie-like ghost walks out of a portal and scares people.
  • The frequent battles and monsters may be intense to younger children.
  • Players may express great frustration at the difficulty of the cloister of trials.
