The film's star Asha Parekh said that she dabbled in choreographing the dance sequences for the film "to a certain extent," even though her name isn't listed as the choreographer in the credits.

This is the second film that Asha Bhosle sang all seven songs for her husband composer Rahul Dev Burman. The first was Garam Masala (1972), which was released a few months earlier.
