Storyline
Plot Summary |
The best of the reality series crop is back, with 12 teams of 2 players each racing around the world, trying not to be eliminated at a series of checkpoints in which the last team to arrive is booted from the show. CBS chooses teams with relationships containing at least some tension, especially when the situation involves intense pressure. This season includes such duos as two circus clowns, a gay married couple, a father and son, a recently engaged couple, married couples, and best friends. Written by T.J. Magwire |

Did You Know?
Trivia | Jill and her brother F.T. were originally applied for Season 1. Later, her brother was killed in 9/11, and John Vito and Jill race in remembrance of him during Season 3. After the race, they hosted a show that promoted Singapore tourism. See more » |
Goofs | Flipped Shot: When Chip and Kim deliver the chairs in Mto Wa Mbu in the episode "Are You Sure This Is Safe?" there's a child wearing a Pokemon shirt which is shown as a mirrored image. This is done on a lot on reality shows where licensed clothing is visible in order to get around licensing issues. Also, it's easier to flip the image than to blur it out. See more » |

Crazy Credits | In the opening credits, quick shots of countries and other clues are shown, hinting where the race will go. See more » |
