Severrrrrn! Sorry, we're a bit over-excited, because the very first Strictly Come Dancing live show is about to start. We've done the office sweepstake, we've slipped on our sequins and we've even gone for a bit of a spray tan, but we're not the ones who have to take to the floor to cha cha our way to victory.
That responsibility falls on the shoulders of 15 very brave (/stupid) celebrities, and the first batch will be hitting the floor tonight - Tonight - to attempt to impress the judges. But who'll soar and who'll fall as flat as their feet? We're about to find out, so join Digital Spy from 9pm as we bring you all the action from the ballroom...
21:59That's it for tonight though! Who are you loving and loathing at this early stage? Who do you think will triumph? And who are you still excited to see?...

Robbie Williams has reportedly been lined up to replace Simon Cowell on The X Factor.
It looks likely that Cowell will step down from the show, as he launches his American version of the singing competition this autumn. ITV bosses want him to commute between the Us and London to appear on both series’ but insiders say he knows he would be too exhausted by the transatlantic travel and wouldn’t be able to give his all to either show.
So he has chosen his successor.
And sources say that man is Take That star Robbie Williams. The ‘Rock DJ’ singer has been a big fan of the show for years and has performed with the finalists on many occasions. In fact when Robbie and his four bandmates sang ‘The Flood’ on a results episode in 2010, the series enjoyed it’s highest ratings ever….a whopping 17.7 million!

Nordic Games’ follow -up to We Sing Encore, We Sing Robbie Williams features 25 tracks from the chart-topping artist – including tracks such as Angels, Rock DJ, Kids, and No Regrets (full tracklist), all of which are accompanied by the original videos and span Robbie’s 13-year solo career - plus the game includes his latest record, Shame, which features his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, as an unlockable bonus track.
I absolutely adore music games – Singstar, Rock Band, Guitar Hero… You name it I’ve played it. However my experiences of music games on the Wii have been varied at best, some – like Band Hero – are a joy to play, whilst others… not so much. Like it’s predecessor, We Sing Robbie Williams falls definitely into the former category. And whilst I’m not a huge Robbie Williams fan, this is another great music game and definitely a credit to the We Sing brand.

Gwen will live in a cottage at Williams’ 12million pound Los Angeles mansion.
“Gwen has been struggling with repayments on her home over recent months. She’s remortgaged the property a number of times and now owes more than the value of the house,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

In this media-saturated age, it's getting harder and harder to shock people, especially with music videos. But every once in a while, a clip comes along that really turns heads and gets the band in question a load of (perhaps unwanted) attention. Such is the case with Florida pop-punkers Mayday Parade, whose video for "Kids in Love" has raised a whole lot of eyebrows with its graphic depictions of sex, drug use and violence. The video — which somewhat resembles the "Europe montage" from "The Rules of Attraction" — has been banned from YouTube and has also earned the group a bit of backlash from their fans, who have called it "pointlessly explicit." "The negative reaction, it bothers me," Mayday Parade frontman Derek Sanders told MTV News' James Montgomery on Wednesday (April 28). "I hate to see people say they've lost respect for us or that they're no longer going to be fans of our band,...

Here we go folks – we’ve done the auditions round, the bootcamp round and we’ve visited the judges houses and groaned whenever Sinitta wore those palm leaves.
Tonight’s what the serious X Factor fans have been waiting for – the first live show. Will nationally reviled twins John and Edward Grimes get booted out straight away, or will they survive at the expense of another contestant?
The deep-voiced melodramatic fella is back doing voiceover. It’s time. To face. The music!
So, no messing around, we get some fighting talk from the judges. Dermot bounces onto the stage reminding us that winning the X is the “biggest prize in pop”. With that exciting revelation, the judges come on stage. What the frickin’ frick is Cheryl wearing? To call it an attention grabbing frock would be an understatement. Dannii’s sedate purple number barely compares.

First up is a Minogue contestant – Rachel Adedeji.

Robbie Williams is being questioned by police investigating an armed robbery. Detectives hope the 'Rock DJ' singer can help them determine if there is a link between the robbery carried out by three unknown men, and paparazzi photographs taken of the star as he holidays in the Bahamas. A fight broke out between the 35-year-old singer's entourage and photographers Matt Sanchez and Carlos Mendez after they took pictures of Robbie smoking a large roll-up cigarette on a jet-ski at the beach. Just hours after the confrontation, three men forced their way into the photographer's beach hut at 3am, held guns to their heads and threatened to kill them.
