Hollywoodnews.com: Oh, to be a fly on the wall at the Chateau Marmont in the last week. Whenever Hollywood News is there, it’s for a junket or their delicious sliders, but behold what happens when we’re not around: a cat fight between Lindsay Lohan and Avril Lavigne.
Such a feud is a sign that God listens to the prayers of all those adolescent boys who dream of sassy girls.
Page Six locked and loaded the story: Lohan shows up to say “Hi” at Lavigne’s table where the singer was hanging with b.f. Brody Jenner.
The pop singer of “Alice Underground” did not chill out and ask Lohan ‘What are you waiting for?’ rather she just wanted to make things more complicated.
Oh, no, a Page Six spy reports, “As soon as she (Lohan) approached, Avril launched at her and said: ‘Get the hell out of my face,...

It’s earned all sorts of conflicting reactions with online commenters. Some have lapped it up (“I love this song! Good job Avril!”), others have hated it (one branding it a “f***ing nightmare”) and others have touched on more specific aspects (“doesn’t sound strange or classical enough”), but one thing’s for certain – Avril Lavigne’s upcoming single from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland named “Alice Underground” has gotten people talking. And now we’ve got Avril’s side of the story as the Canadian punky popstrel has taken to her website to remember how she came to be involved with the movie and share her excitement at working with Burton.

From MTV.Com: Avril Lavigne is going down the rabbit hole. The singer has officially landed a track called "Alice Underground" on the soundtrack of Tim Burton's upcoming re-imagination of "Alice in Wonderland," according to Variety.
Some Lavigne fansites have reported that the track will also be the first single from the pop-punk princess' upcoming fourth album, but there has been no official confirmation. This March, a brand new track performed by Avril Lavigne will be revealed. Titled "Alice Underground", the song is confirmed to serve as one of the soundtracks for Tim Burton's upcoming movie "Alice in Wonderland".
Official statement regarding question whether or not the song will be included in Avril's fourth studio album is yet to be made. But, she indeed has been working hard for the past few months to finish her new album which is yet to be titled.
Back in July 2009, Avril Lavigne gave Entertainment Weekly first listen to two new materials from the upcoming release. Explaining what she penned, she said at that time, "I'm not trying to write a perfect pop song. I'm just trying to write a song that's honest right now, even if something sounds weird or a lyric might not make sense to someone."

I am previewing 22 film titles this week and a few of them are already in the database and linked where that is the case. One story, however, I am held from posting until today comes from Variety in which Anne Thompson does a little Twilight franchise rumor passing as she gives the following update on the potential directors for the third film in the franchise, Eclipse: Don't believe everything you hear about Twilight and its sequels. Things are heating up already on the third installment, Eclipse. They haven't even started the second one yet, New Moon. When you've got a robust franchise, filmmakers are eager to get on board.
