The worst film ever
Arator16 October 2002
I saw this movie yesterday. I am from Austira, where half of the cast and the director are from. It's terrible. The Austrian and the German (because Elfi Eeschke is German) accent are so terrible, that it's unbearable. And the plot ist bad as well. Nothing new. An old scheme, about twins, where one is the good and talented one, and the other one is the bad and jealous one. the humor is bad and the directing as well. Though I like the director in his other Aaustrian films, this one is really bad.

Worst movie ever, nuff´said!

This must really be the worst movie we´ve ever seen, tv or cinema... no story, no real actors and a script that is written in english by someone who can´t really speak english... Avoid this if you can, we couldn´t because we saw it at a sneak preview :-(

Because of this movie, we finally decided to never watch a sneak preview ever again...

It isn't Sandra Pires that makes it worth at least a look...

Look, I find it disheartening that the story line between Elfi Eschke and Ben Cross wasn't focused on by these writers just a bit more...THAT was the hilarious part of the movie--not the good twin/bad twin stuff. That was all done before anyway and is old hat.

This movie did show me that Cross needs to do more comedy. He IS funny. I know he gets used for bad guy roles a lot, but he would be an asset to any real comedy show out there...I'd love to see him show up on "Men of a Certain Age" or on SNL. I've seen some of the joking he does and he's a natural at it. This guy has never really had a chance to show his stuff so Hollywood needs to give him a shot. There aren't many like him left. Yes, he's well known for playing Abrams in Chariots of Fire--but I didn't know who this guy was until 2009 and he is way too under- appreciated in my book.

I cannot fault the actors for the job the writer's did with this script. It could have been better, but I suspect that some of the funny scenes with Cross and Eschke ended up on the cutting room floor. These two were good in this picture together--and I am usually finicky about the actresses as much as the actors! And if you want to see him in a hilarious role, I highly recommend "Nightlife".
