David begins the first show of his series by singing six songs, including "Hold Me Close" and "Gonna Make You A Star", as well as performing "Rock On" for the regular theme music. Guests The Small Faces perform "Whatcha Gonna Do About It?"
The centrepiece of this second episode is a rock and roll medley, as David performs tracks by Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. The special guest is Ronnie Spector, performing "Say Goodbye to Hollywood".
David uses the show's love of special effects to perform a tap dance with David Essex, and David Essex. He also showcases the full version of the song that plays over each week's end credits: "All The Fun of the Fair".
David introduces music from an album he's been working on with Jeff Wayne: a musical version of The War of the Worlds. Also on the show is Twiggy, joining David for a duet of "Send In The Clowns".
For the final show in the series, David relives the experience of "Godspell". Not just the song he wrote about the experience, "Sept. 15th", but an entire medley of songs performed with the original cast.
