Ahead of time - great children TV
dakjets2 October 2016
I am surprised nobody has written a review of this TV-series yet. This TV series from 1980 is based on the books from the late, great Norwegian author Anne Cath Vestly. Her books about Guro, the girl who has lost her father, and lives with a caring and determined mother. The TV series was shown on TV in Norway in the early 80s', and was well received. Guro is not the best know character from Vestly, but is nevertheless worth watching. A head of it's time when it was showed, the story is about a single mother who choose to move to the city with her daughter Guro and start a new life. The change of life is brilliantly shown through the eyes of the child.

If you can find this on DVD, buy it. It's great TV for both children and adults.
