Imaginative edition

His enthusiasm may seem over the top in the BTS, but director Jim Powers is certainly creative in dreaming up and executing outlandish skits for this volume of the hit series.

Opening vignette won an AVN award for its sheer outrageousness, and while I do quarrel with the phony category I can't deny its appropriateness.

An obscure actress named Kristin Kane, who shall remain obscure given her heavy special effects makeup and prosthetics employed here, stars in the classic opener titled "Pussy Face", title giving away the game. Powers directs an overwrought dramatic opening in which Kristin's father is downright belligerent with visiting doctors Herschel Savage and Rafe, who are determined to try an experimental procedure in a last-ditch effort to improve the quality of life for his beleaguered daughter, who has already suffered through seven unsuccessful surgeries at age 19.

They finally talk him into letting them have one more try, and unveil her face, which has a rather impressive prosthetic vagina (replete with pubic hair giving her something of a beard) where her mouth should be.

In the BTS the cast and crew can't help from breaking into laughter at this, but the scene is played straight in the finished video, with Rafe humping Kristin's face and then Herschel joining in for a threesome replete with the inevitable d.p.'s.

That one's a hard act to follow, but Powers delivers strange and comical lesser scenes that fill out the show entertainingly. "Cum -It's Not just for Breakfast Anymore!" is a one-joke pony, but odd enough to satisfy in shaggy-dog story fashion. Attractive Michelle Raven (who reminds me of '90s superstar Ashlyn Gere) has a recurring nightmare in which she's at the breakfast table, with a group of studs methodically stepping up to her bowl and jerking off spunk into it, for her to dutifully lap up with spoon and straw.

This parade lasts through 14 consecutive money shots, with the DVD menu revealing to have been delivered by just six actors, including Scott Lyons and Rick Masters, and that's all she wrote. The methodical and repetitive nature of this exercise reminded me of Kubrick (!), especially in his "2001"/"A Clockwork Orange" phase.

No PS video is complete without a food-related gross-out, and this time we have "Human Burrito" in which Johnny Thrust, uncredited, is ready to dine on a huge one, which turns out to be a young Aurora Snow (before her superstardom), covered in cheese and veggies head to toe. Thrust exits, and chefs Brian Surewood and Jay Ashley appear, humping Aurora while pouring more food all over her body in a very messy gonzo scene.

Weakest segment is saved for last, starring Sienna in "Tooth Ache", as the ailing girl gets plenty of d.p. action (as well as the promised oral sex) from Mark Cummings and Dave Hardman. Gynecological close-ups and gaping are featured in this pointless gross-out.
