This black and white movie is directed and produced by two guys, who I suppose are from Cologne and who also play the two main characters, as you see. The plot is set in Westend, which should be a part of Cologne. The story is about two friends, who mainly hang around at the local pub/cafe and drink beer. Both unemployed, we see them trying to find a job. A friend takes them on to do up his snackbar somewhere in no man's land and then serving the customers. After a short while, things start to work out fine, but some foreseeable problems are up on their way...... I don't entirely buy this "Kaurismäki`-Atmosphere, the directors try to create. But apart from that, this movie contains some really nice ideas and funny moments. But not enough to have a second go. 6 out of 10
