A pleasing character sketch
deickemeyer9 December 2018
This comedy number gives Josie Sadler an opportunity for some clever character work. The opening scenes are in a boarding house in Germany where she waits on table, very clumsily. Later she comes to America, where she meets the German grocery boy, impersonated by Billy Quirk. They, of course, fall in love. There seemed to be no particular climax to this, but it makes a pleasing character sketch. - The Moving Picture World, August 1, 1914
