Please note that all television programs are inherently "On Camera."

Off Camera was a horrible title for the show, and while Dean Cain was likeable, he was also rather painfully bland in his interviewing style. I suppose as a regular watcher of late night programs I've been spoiled by interviewers who were often far more interesting than the guests on their show. Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Arsenio Hall - even the briefly lived Pat Sajak show - the host was fun. The host was a foil to whatever story the interviewee had to tell, helping to bring out more texture of the story and make it more relateable than the story-teller would have done on their own. Cain just wasn't that kind of host.
