Hard to believe this is almost 15 years old now and the children all grown up.
I bought the DVD to help me with my German. Although it's a kid's film and it's plot rather basic, it's still fun and heartwarming.
The film's real strength though is the antagonists: Michael Lott as the villainous Titus Die Kralle and Martin Semmelrogge as the eccentric Hausmeister Franz Bommer. Both were inspired pieces of casting.
