Included as an extra on the UK Arrow release of the director's Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, this is an essential and absolutely electric documentary featuring four women who knew and worked with Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Made twenty years after that film and featuring three women from the film, Margit Carstensen, Irm Hermann and Hanna Schygulla plus Rosel Zech, this is probably the finest film extra I have ever seen. All the women talk intelligently and with feeling both about the man and their working with him. Revealing, thought provoking and absolutely riveting, this is essential viewing for anyone interested in the man's work and especially fans of Bitter Tears. Fabulous.
