Despite having written many stories that seem to lend themselves to films, Chuck Palahniuk has only had two of his novels successfully adapted to the medium. The first of those is easily the most famous, that being David Fincher‘s Fight Club. Widely regarded as one of the best films of the 90s, it’s lived on to today through its smart script, but particularly Brad Pitt‘s iconic portrayal of Tyler Durden. (Who, ironically enough, is the cause of so, so many people misunderstanding the entire work.)
