The day’s finally arrived for Alan Wake to enter The Fog and join Behaviour Interactive’s Dead by Daylight. Alan Wake joins the asymmetrical multiplayer title as the latest Survivor as part of Tome 18: Revision.
You know the story by now: best-selling author Alan Wake has a case of writer’s block. A trip to Bright Falls was supposed to clear his mind, but instead set off a nightmarish chain of events that led to his disappearance and imprisonment in the mysterious Dark Place. This time, while fighting to write his way to freedom and escape the Dark Place, he remembered a script he wrote for Night Springs about a horrifying place shrouded in fog. Those memories soon shaped reality as he was swallowed up into The Entity’s Ream and the world of Dead by Daylight, trading one Dark Place for another.

A new deluxe reissue of Nirvana’s In Utero, is out today (October 27th) to coincide with the album’s 30th anniversary.
The original In Utero arrived after Nirvana had already become global superstars, and is thematically characterized by the band’s discomfort with their status, particularly from frontman, Kurt Cobain. Celebrating it on the occasion of its 25th anniversary in 2018, Consequence contributor Ryan Bray praised the album as “arguably the truest representation of what Nirvana was: a massive act with the principles and integrity of one half its size… It’s a difficult but ironclad document of artistic bravery.”
Now, the album is being honored in a whole new fashion. Among the 53 unreleased tracks are two full In Utero-era concerts, including the band’s final performance in Seattle, as well as six bonus live tracks recorded at various shows around the same time. Additionally, the album’s original tracklist,...

The Umbrella Academy will be back in session in the summer.
Showrunner Steve Blackman confirmed Sunday at SXSW that the beloved drama will premiere its long-delayed third season Wednesday, June 22.
The new season will premiere a little under two years after the launch of The Umbrella Academy Season 2.
"After putting a stop to 1963’s doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all," reads the logline for the new season.
"But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren’t exactly how they left them."
"Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns."

Netflix is giving viewers some more insight into The Umbrella Academy Season 3.
As part of the streamer's GeekedWeek event, it unveiled the episode titles for all ten episodes.
The episode titles, in show order, are “Meet the Family,” “World’s Biggest Ball of Twine,” “Pocket Full of Lightning,” “Kugelblitz,” “Kindest Cut,” “Marigold,” “Auf Wiedersehen,” “Wedding at the End of the World,” “Six Bells,” and “Oblivion.”
Netflix's GeekedWeek event finds the streamer zeroing in on some of the biggest genre content on movies and TV.
Production on the third season is already underway, but there's no telling when it might premiere on Netflix.
The streamer is expected to have a wealth of shows in the second half of 2021 due to many of its shows being delayed due to the pandemic.
In all likelihood, The Umbrella Academy Season 3 will not be on the air until 2022, and there will be some big changes.

Salman Khan. He made his acting debut 23 years ago with a minor role in Rekha starrer Biwi Ho To Aisi, had his first commercial hit with blockbuster Maine Pyar Kiya a year later. Salman Khan has gone on to star in some of Hindi cinema’s most successful films such as Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, the National Award Winner Dabangg, and the recently released Bodyguard. Ahead of his schedule in Dublin and fresh from his surgery in America, Salman charmed the London press that had gathered for a special round table conference with him. Dubbed the Bad Boy of the Indian Film Industry by the press, all I can say is the media present was putty in his hands.

With his bedroom eyes, bulging biceps, and velvety voice that would make any woman swoon, Salman Khan is the ultimate heartthrob—and his bad-boy reputation only adds to his sex appeal. He's been in trouble with the law, several fatwas have been issued against him, and his romantic relationships with ex-girlfriends Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif (who's 20 years his junior) have been filled with tumult. His combativeness with the press doesn't help his image and neither do the well-publicized blow-ups he's had with colleagues. But he's also known for his generous philanthropic work. He got started in film in 1988 and appeared in his first smash-hit, 'Maine Pyar Kiya,' a year later—and he's been churning them out ever since, including 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' (1999), 'Partner' (2007), and 'Dabangg' (2010). He's had plenty of flops, too—including an English-language Hollywood production, 'Marigold'...

Long before "Jai Ho" entered the international lexicon, the gap between Hollywood and Bollywood had already been shrinking. In distinctly Western style, much of the action has occurred behind the scenes: Indian cable TV magnate and Bollywood producer Ronnie Screwvala's Utv Software Communications has co-produced the latest Hollywood films from Indian filmmakers M. Night Shyamalan ("The Happening") and Mira Nair ("The Namesake"), in addition to making financing deals with Sony and Will Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment; Disney and Warner Brothers have begun to finance their own Bollywood productions; and last year, Reliance, one of India's biggest producer of Bollywood films, made production pacts with the companies of Nicolas Cage, George Clooney and Brad Pitt before making their biggest coup -- financing DreamWorks, an investment that allowed the Steven Spielberg-led studio to leave its deal at Paramount.

NEW DELHI -- Bollywood star Salman Khan was granted bail Friday by a high court in Rajasthan following nearly a week in jail after a lower court overturned his plea for bail connected to a five-year sentence handed down in a 1998 poaching case (HR 8/25).
After posting the bail amount of $2,500 (100,000 rupees), Khan was released from the central jail in the western city of Jodhpur by Friday afternoon and fly back home to Mumbai in a chartered plane.
"The High Court has suspended his prison term of five years, but he will have to appear before the court on Oct. 24. The revision petition we had filed will come up for hearing then," Khan's lawyer Deepesh Mehta said.
Khan is one of India's most bankable stars. His recent Indo-U.S. co-production Marigold, directed by Willard Carol, co-stars Ali Larter.
Khan has been battling a legal case for his alleged 1998 shooting of a Chinkara, a protected gazelle species considered sacred by the Bishnoi community in Rajasthan, while on a hunting trip.

Marigold is a cross-cultural experiment that misfires. American writer-director Willard Carroll (Playing by Heart) has essentially made a Bollywood film, except that this one is in English, save for the musical numbers. The film understandably suffers from a certain amount of self-consciousness because Carroll knows all too well that the Mumbai film industry employs any number of Indian directors who crank out these things on a weekly basis. Nor is anything really gained by adding an American director and star into the mix.
The film will suffer on two fronts: Bollywood fans will dismiss the mishmash as the work of an American director "slumming" in a genre outside his own culture, and Western audiences unfamiliar with Hindi-language masala movies will find the whole thing puzzling.
Even the approach to this self-described Bollywood-meets-Hollywood exercise is awkward, as Willard chooses to make an movie within a movie. A very blonde and bitchy American actress, Marigold (played much too aggressively by Ali Larter of NBC's Heroes), finds herself stranded in Goa when financing of a low-budget movie goes south. A Bollywood director spots her and immediately casts her in his musical.
Naturally, exotic India works its magic on the Westerner, straightening out her bad attitude and giving her a richer appreciation of life. This includes a romance with the film's choreographer, played by genuine Bollywood star Salman Khan, and a let's-see-India itinerary that takes in Goa, Mumbai, Jodhpur and, finally, Agra for a concluding dance at the Taj Mahal.
At 111 minutes, Marigold is about an hour shorter than most Bollywood films; otherwise, it's just as bad, cliched and contrived. Carroll is actually not the first Westerner seduced into thinking that he, too, can make a Bollywood movie, but these things never work out. The problem, as lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II once remarked when confronted with someone doing a bad imitation of a Hammerstein lyric, is that he really believes in "raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens." The writer of the ersatz Hammerstein song does not.

Variety reports Indian actor Salman Khan will star in Marigold, a musical romantic comedy written and to be directed by American filmmaker Willard Carroll (Playing by Heart). The movie, about a demanding B-movie actress stranded in India when her latest fly-by-night film is suddenly canceled, is being touted as a Hollywood-Bollywood collaboration and will be filmed in both English and Hindi. Hyperion Pictures India will produce the $10 million flick, in which Khan will play the dance instructor to an as-yet-uncast U.S. actress, who takes a part in a Bollywood flick out of desperation. Composer David Newman will supervise the score.
