- Bobby, the doughboy, has left his sweetheart behind in Paris. He returns for her and has the greatest difficulty locating her. In his hunt he runs into the tough White Rat Cafe, where the Darling of Paris becomes enamored of him, thereby arousing the jealousy of her lover, who threatens Bobby with dire consequences. Bobby escapes, runs into his sweetheart, and in the chase, the villain at his heels is captured by the police as a badly wanted criminal.—Motion Picture News, December 19, 1925
- After the war is over, Bobby goes back to France in search of his French sweetheart, Babette who has promised to wait for him. He goes to the restaurant, where he left her, inquires for her and while waiting, he sees her on the corner. But before he gets there, she has gone. Then Bobby goes to the White Rat Cafe where he sees a girl enter who is dressed like Babette. Inside are a couple of Apache dancers, and Bobby, thinking the man is abasing the girl, intervenes and is knocked into a table. When he gets to the girl who looks like Babette, he discovers that she, is colored. In the Apache cafe, Bobby engages in a mild flirtation with a dancer, much to the annoyance of the Apache leader. They are seated at a table when the Apache throws a knife which lands between them. Bobby becomes frightened. Again the Apache throws a knife and Bobby decides to move. A knife throwing contest ensues and Bobby rushes to the dancer's dressing room and comes out dressed like a gorgeous dancer. Immediately the Apache is impressed and comes over to dance with him, but Bobby declines. But the Apache insists and during the dance Bobby loses his wig. The Apache leader goes into a fighting rage and vent his passion on the unlucky Bobby. During the mad fight, Bobby is thrown to a gas fixture. Just then he sees Babette come in and he calls to her. She recognizes him and goes for assistance. Bobby i thrown out the window, and the Apache leader follow after him, but is caught by the police who tell Bobby that he will get a big reward for catching the Apache leader.
