The screenwriters and executive producers of Deadpool take us through the fight to bring the movie to the screen....
It took more than six years of development for Fox’s X-Men spin-off movie Deadpool to make it to the big screen. Along the way, multiple script drafts were written and manifold Marvel Comics characters were dropped in and out. It was only when that much-talked-about test footage did the rounds to much online applause that movie finally set a release date and became a tangible reality.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick – the writers who’ve been on board the R-rated Ryan Reynolds superhero movie since the start – spoke to us on the phone just before the movie’s release. We spoke about all sorts, covering X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Zombieland 2 and, of course, the Merc With The Mouth himself…

Both women wowed in the same fitted Victoria Beckham dress, but who wore it better?
On May 1, the newly slender and chic Jennifer Hudson wore a blush fitted dress from Victoria Beckham‘s spring 2011 collection to the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert in NYC. She paired the dress with suede Christian Louboutin peep-toe ankle boots and stunning diamond accessories. She rocked the red carpet and made the look her own, but she wasn’t the first one to steal the spotlight in the sexy dress.
Back on Apr. 3, actress and Angel Brooklyn Decker donned the dress with her new hairstyle, Stella McCartney heels, and no accessories! She managed to look incredibly sexy and sophisticated at the same time, and the shoes added a classic yet edgy touch.
Jennifer undoubtedly put up a good fight, but Brooklyn wins in my book. Jennifer’s Louboutins, while fabulous, were a little...

Nearly a decade has passed since R&B icon Aaliyah's death, and her impact is still being felt. On Wednesday (August 25), the ninth anniversary of the star's tragic death at age 22, Missy Elliott and Drake sounded off about the later singer's effect on music, and several of her celebrity fans took to Twitter to reflect on her enduring style and influence.
Funky songstress Janelle Monáe credits Aaliyah's unique look and mesmerizing footwork with keeping her on the straight-and-narrow. "Aaliyah was an inspiration," the Midwestern-born artist tweeted. "Always kept me & my friends in [Kansas City] out of trouble. Too busy in the mirror doing her 'swoop' bang & dance moves.:)"
Many stars co-signed each other's thoughts about the late hitmaker, who died in a plane crash in the Bahamas after shooting her "Rock the Boat" video with Hype Williams.

Some people in the audience started to boo — after all, the awards are taking place in Los Angeles, Dodger and Angel territory, and the Bronx Bombers defeated the Angels on their way to their World Series championship.

Fif says fans are 'ready' for harder material, like new street album.

New York — The ride to 25th Street from the G-Unit offices outside of Times Square in 50 Cent's SUV wasn't long enough — the G-Unit General needed a little more time to play his record.
Outside of his camp, nobody had heard a lick of material from his street album, War Angel LP (which became available for download Tuesday), and he was eager to preview a few tracks for MTV News. Fif sat in his seat and pressed a button. Up came a huge flat screen from behind his manager Chris Lighty, who was seated facing 50 in the four-passenger SUV.
The screen displayed the Internet, not TV. Fif is big on the Web, if you haven't noticed. He said the traffic on his Web site, ThisIs50.com, has doubled since he started responding...
