At the end of Ant-Man, we got a tease of Evangeline Lilly's alter-ego, Wasp, but not until now have we seen what she'll look like in costume. Frankly, we think she looks pretty great.

Evangeline Lilly on Monday suited up to celebrate late comic book artist Jack Kirby's 100th birthday.
Lilly shared the first photo of herself wearing her Wasp costume for 2018's Ant-Man and the Wasp, in which she stars opposite Paul Rudd, who plays Ant-Man.
Kirby co-created Janet van Dyne (the original Wasp) along with Stan Lee back in 1963. Lilly plays Hope, the daughter of Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man), and though her character was actually created by writer Tom DeFalco and artist Ron Frenz in 1999, like most things in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,...

Batman-News spotted a Tweet from actor, Christopher Judge in which he revealed his involvement in 'The Dark Knight Rises.' From his official Twitter account, he Tweeted: "I can finally confirm: I have been cast in 'The Dark Knight Rises'." He didn't accompany the announcement with whom he will be playing in the film. A veteran of both live-action and animation, he has had roles in such television shows as 'MacGyver,' 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,' 'Action Man,' 'Andromeda,' 'X-Men: Evolution,' 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,' 'Stargate Sg-1,' and 'Stargate: Atlantis.' Christopher Judge is in London today for the launch of Dead Space: Aftermath, the new animated feature from Manga/Anchor Bay in association with EA Games.
It arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday, January 24.
Judge is perhaps known best for his role as Teal'c in Stargate Sg-1, which ran for ten seasons and led to numerous spin-off shows and TV movies.
The 46-year-old voices Nick Kuttner in Dead Space: Aftermath. Peter Woodward (Babylon 5, The Patriot, Stargate: Atlantis, Fringe, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) voices the Lead Interrogator.
Prior to Dead Space: Aftermath, Christopher portrayed Magneto in the animated series X-Men: Evolution (2000-2003) and Zodak in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2003-2004). Earlier in his career, he appeared in 21 Jump Street, House Party 2 and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Here’s a list of some of the new movie and TV shows coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week that we’re looking forward to seeing. Also, there’s some classic, and not-so-classic, movies hitting Blu-ray for the first time this week as well.
Of all the new releases, we’re particularly interested in the Blu-ray versions of movies and TV shows like The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Monsters vs. Aliens, The Guild Seasons 1 & 2, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and Life on Mars: The Complete Series. There’s also a new DVD box set that made us laugh out loud in its awesomeness: Cagney & Lacey: The Menopause Years. Yes, that’s real.

Veteran comics artist Ron Frenz was honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the ToonSeum at its annual fundraiser. Frenz is best known for his art on Amazing Spider-Man and Superman in the 1980s. He was responsible for the redesign of Superman's costume when DC Comics decided to change his powers. LONDON -- U.K. children's programming producer Entertainment Rights said Tuesday that it has extended its DVD distribution deal with BCI for the U.S. and Canada. BCI will now handle the DVD release of all of ER's animation catalog, which includes about 230 hours of programming including She-Ra: Princess of Power, Ghostbusters, The New Adventures of Zorro, The Lone Ranger and several live action series like The Secret of Isis. A Navarre Corp. company, BCI recently handled the U.S. DVD release of ER's He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

LONDON -- Entertainment Rights reported Thursday that it has cut pretax losses by more than half to £417,000 ($754,842) on sales of £29.5 million ($53.4 million), compared with a year-earlier loss of £1.14 million on sales of £24 million. The firm also unveiled plans to move aggressively into the U.S. market through the purchase for £11 million ($19.9 million) of Hallmark's 500-hour Filmation library of animated children's series, including He-Man, The Lone Ranger, She-Ra, Ghostbusters, My Favorite Martian and other classics from the 1970s and 1980s.
