Early political propaganda in the post revolutionary era
zzmale15 March 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: United until Tomorrow.

This movie is an obvious piece of political propaganda and everyone can see it from the beginning of film, even for those who had no significant knowledge of contemporary Chinese history. Unlike most post revolutionary era Chinese movies of its time (political propaganda included), this movie is not based on the true story that really happened. However, it appears to be a true story or even some documentary or docudrama because it is so predictable that everyone knows the result before the movie ends.
