Surprisingly funny short -- about ten seconds -- showing half a dozen people, including policemen, housewives and workmen on roller skates. Interesting as a very early example of fast cutting all done without the benefit of Russian theoreticians, the year before Griffith stepped behind a movie camera.

Ten Lines?!
JoeytheBrit12 November 2009
This short film really is short, lasting no more than about 10 seconds, and it's quite amusing - although something of a challenge for a reviewer who must write no less than ten lines about it if he wishes to see his review accepted for uploading onto this fine website. Time for a paragraph break, I think.
Hello again. The film is a series of one-or-two second shots of various people from all walks of life getting around on their roller skates. We see policemen, housewives, workmen, etc, wobbling around a little uncertainly as they go about their business on skates. Well, that's the end of the second paragraph. I'm going to have a go at hitting the submit button now, so if there are no more words after this sentence you'll know I've succeeded in padding out this review outrageously.
