The film got a frugal second life in 2013 when the Biennale Istanbul curated the movie into a canon of international political cinema next to names like Bunuel, Godard and Jean Rouch. Honouring this, it was screened at Istanbul IFF and Doc Aviv the same year and at the Museum of Modenr Art, New York, in 2014.
Clips from the movie were used without permission for the music video "Widerstand" for Austrian HipHop-stars Texta in 2000, directed by Michael Parenti, before the film even was officially released.
Clips from the movie were used without permission for the music video "Video spü" by Austrian comedy band "Neigungsgruppe Sex, Gewalt & Gute Laune" in 2012, directed by Thomas Hangwyrer, a parody of Lana del Reys smash hit "Video Games".
