The sets and backgrounds all show much artistic ability

If it had been at all possible to make the action called for by this scenario convincing, one feels that the producers and the players who made it would have accomplished this. The relationship of the scenes, the quality of the acting, and the sets and backgrounds all show much artistic ability. Just as it is, the picture might convince some, although much of the business is almost impossible. It is a picture that will interest and please. The players are acceptable (the heroine is Miss Fritzi) and keep the pictures full of light comedy spirit. The camera work is excellent and many of the scenes beautiful. - The Moving Picture World, June 1, 1912
