Sex & Nudity

  • This documentary contains multiple scenes with nudity, both in a sexual and violent sense. Towards the beginning there are a few scenes in Vietnam where naked children are seen running across the screen for a few seconds, and then a man's genitals are closely viewed as the camera was viewing a severe wound on his leg.
  • There was also a scene around a minute long where a narrator describes how the group of them were "having group sex, homosexuality, and how 14 of them were all spread on the floor naked rolling down the interstate." There are scenes of full male and female nudity.
  • There is describing and picturing of group sex, nudity, and sexuality.

Violence & Gore

  • Much of the film's content contains footage from the Vietnam War and protests in the US, both of which contain bloody images which are very disturbing.
  • In Vietnam, there are at least a dozen war scenes where soldiers, women, and children are sometimes seen bloodied, missing arms or legs, and usually running around with blood around them in the midst of gunfire. There are a couple close up shots of people's injuries, but most of these scenes are not very close up, while they are violent and sometimes gorey.
  • In the scenes of protest in the US, mobs are seen storming the streets, breaking into buildings, and running people over. There is at least a few scenes of police/guards beating people, and blood is shown as many of the scenes are real footage.
  • While there certainly have been more violent and bloody movies, the fact that much of the violence in this film is real footage makes the war and beating scenes very horrific and tough to watch.

Profanity

  • At least a couple dozen uses of f***, s***, b****, a** and others. Also a couple scenes where a narrator describes sex, talking about homosexuality and genitals as part of the narration of events.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There isn't a whole lot of alcohol or drugs in this documentary, though a few references are made to "doping up" and smoking weed as they were a part of the protest group's lifestyle. Not much if anything is shown, however, despite the descriptions.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The documentary is about protests about the Vietnam War, and as many scenes are shown from both the war and the protests, many scenes are disturbing. Many protesting scenes are intense as well.
  • This documentary contains nudity, language, and a lot of real bloody violence and is hard to handle.
