A weak entry
slabihoud8 August 2007
As a long time follower of the Tatort series with its many teams of police detectives it is hard to acknowledge that one of the weakest in years is also one from my home country Austria. There is only one single cop acting for all Ausrtia while there are so many teams of twos or threes in Germany. Therefor he has to be a special commissioner to be able to investigate all over the country. So far so good.

But this episode suffers for many reasons. First, the author Felix Mitterer, well known for his critical view on tourism and nationalism, cranked out a teleplay which is full of holes and which he reworked for another episode (Tödliche Habgier) in 2007. But the worst is the acting. Harald Krassnitzer is fine, but his female sidekick here is hard to swallow, and so is the killer. Some of the smaller parts are equally terrible. Amazingly, the next show with Krassnitzer turned out to be very good, so it looks as if the learned something!
