It's first review. What can I say about King Midas?

I love gangster films...too bad this isn't really one of them.

This is an hour and a half rap video...with nonstop rap...

Ok, over all the film aint that bad...not too original, no special dialogue or memorable quotes, no real chase scenes, explosions or anything that would make this a high impact film.

This is a very basic film...that's all. If you want a low budget made film, then this is it.

Not the worst I have seen, definately not the best....somewhere in the lower middle.

Note to the director, sound editor and producer. *** The music should be an undertone, not constant and overwhelming. I was soooo annoyed by this. As a first film, it is very bad for the sound. I watched this movie with another person, and that person left partially into the film because it was just blatant bad music constant.

Another point...on your next venture...leave out the useless strip bar scene...and instead of all your characters talking the same trash talk...give them something else beside a low grade vocabulary.

Give your characters appeal...give them personality...give them different styles of walk, dress, talk.

What I did like was the mafia men playing boccie ball and the fact that this was not based in N.Y.C.

There were good points to this film, but the sound was not one of them, nor was the dialogue.

And for bloody sake of a movie...don't make the drug dealer always out to be a tough talking punk who wears gold and silver chains, Rolex watches, listens to rap and dresses like a piece of advertisment. Not all drug dealers wave pistols around and listen to rap while talkin about gang-banging their opponents.

Give them an education in something else then just being a violent bastard who likes to get high and laid.
