Good Movie Wrong name
causar11 July 2016
This is a classic example of a movie failing just because the name of the movie is misguiding. This is a beautiful love story with excellent music and all the right ingredients of making a super hit love story. If only the movie had been given a proper name , it might have been a super hit love story movie. Just don't miss this one ,the songs are all very good with nice lyrics , the acting of Rishi Kapoor & Farha is top class. Mohd Aziz,Anuradha Paudwal are at their best with soulful tunes by Laxmikant- Pyarelal, and the movie is made by none other than father of Amir Khan. The location and photography add to the mood of the movie. It should have been Hamara Pyaar

Great Romantic Movie

Warning: Spoilers
"Humara Khandan" is a movie with a message and the message is to "treat the female child as equal with male child". Though the movie released in 1988 the message is still significant. The movie was a family movie with beautiful songs. Music was by Laxmikant Pyarelal and Mohd. Aziz and Anuradha Paudwal were the singers. Mohd. Aziz sung many beautiful songs for the movie which includes "Main Tumko Chahta Hoon", "Tumhara Chahne Wala Abhi Deewana Baki Hai" . All the songs were hits at that time specially the song "main tumko chahta hoon" is a great song which contains beautiful and soulful lyrics and great singing by Mohd. Aziz. Rishi Kapoor and Farha made a good looking couple. The rich boy poor girl angle was routine but treatment was effective and every actor did his role very well. All in All a good family movie.

Amazing love story.

Good love story. Rishi Kapoor still in his prime. One of the Best Rishi Kapoor films. I like the pair of Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor ji) and Farah. That's why I watched this film.

I wasn't disappointed with the film. It was really good. Cute scenes between Rishi Ji and Farah were a treat to watch, in every film they did together.

Beautiful scenic places in the film. Little bit of social angle, in the beginning how they show the mindset of people towards having children.

Rishi Kapoor is one of my favorite legends of Indian cinema. He is one of the Greatest of All Time. He's the Dev Anand and SRK of 70s-2000s.

Overall, a must watch film, entertaining.
