In the play, Lisa and Tina are Cora's daughters; in the film Lisa and Vanessa are Victoria's daughters and the characters name is Vanessa instead of Tina with a much different personality.
Some of Madea's lines are not scripted, which results in the cast usually trying to hold back their laughter.
When Madea says "Wow tadow watch it now! It's the little one and it's not Bow Wow!" to Lisa when she gets her the gun, it is a quote taken from the song "Wait A Minute" by Ray J.
Cora's daughters are Lisa and Tina, but in Madea's Farewell Play (2020) her daughters' names are Darlene and Robin.
This is the 2nd time Madea's house was shown in a Tyler Perry play.
