Good documentary
vandands5 July 2005
Well, my school showed this documentary, its about the fall Argentina suffered when we had Fernando de la Rua as a president. How argentinians started robbing every single shop, due to the hunger and desperation. It also haves interviews with people who live on the street, asking them what they think about being poor, about Argentinian's economy and government and it's society. It's a remarkable film, which hurts to see since the awful crisis Argentina suffered back in 2001. The thing I've liked the most is the way it's filmed, and the fact of not using a lot of music, just the sound of the streets, and the sad comments of the people which is interviewed. After the interviews, shocking images of the day the people went mad can be seen, and that was one of the most shocking thing of the entire documental. Another good point is that you only hear their responses, you don't hear the filmmaker's questions or comments.
