This photoplay has been written from the plot of a vaudeville sketch, but has been elaborated with scenes made possible by the camera. It is of the rough and tumble character, overacted, and filled with absurd stunts to cause laughter. There are two or three funny ones that creep in, but the picture as a whole is overdone and ridiculous. - The Moving Picture World, April 11, 1914
