Walt Disney Co. is planning a 350-unit timeshare project adjacent to its Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
The Los Angeles Times reports a subsidiary of Disney filed an application to remove a hotel laundry facility and other structures to build a 12-story, 280,000-square-foot development. There is no date for the project’s debut.
The new timeshare development would join the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa as one of three company-owned hotels near Disneyland and Disney California Adventure that offers timeshares. Most of the company’s timeshares, part of Disney Vacation Clubs, are near the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. There are others in Hawaii and one in South Carolina.
Disney will open another timeshare project in Florida next month. The European-themed project is called Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Fans of the Pearson family made sure they didn’t miss the midseason finale of This Is Us on Tuesday. The NBC family drama topped the night with its emotional Thanksgiving episode and ticked up two tenths from last week, earning a 1.5 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and netting 7.27 million viewers.
In addition to This Is Us, NBC had a good night with The Voice holding steady and New Amsterdam (0.8, 5.51M), which was up a tenth. NBC won the night overall in the demo and was second to CBS in total viewers.
The night’s most-watched program, NCIS remained stable for CBS, with both FBI (0.8, 8.83M) and NCIS: New Orleans (0.7, 6.85M) ticking up a tenth.
After a week off, ABC’s freshman sci-fi drama Emergence returned and slipped three tenths to a new low in the demo. Still, the network had a fairly decent night with...

It looks like the random scheduling for ABC's Emergence is negatively affecting the ratings.
The freshman drama slumped to 2.3 million viewers and a 0.4 rating, slipping 43 percent in the demo.
Our critic is enjoying the thriller, but are you tuning out because of the scheduling?
Elsewhere on ABC, The Conners (5.7 million/1.0 rating), Bless This Mess (3.4 million/0.6 rating), and mixed-ish (2.6 million/0.6 rating) were all steady at season lows, while black-ish (2.4 million/0.6 rating) inched up.
Over on NBC, The Voice was stable with 8.3 million viewers and a 1.3 rating.
This Is Us (7.3 million/1.5 rating) and New Amsterdam (5.5 million/0.8 rating) each got a boost for their 2019 finales.
NCIS (11 million/1.0 rating) was down, but FBI (8.8 million/0.8 rating) and NCIS: New Orleans (6.9 million/0.7 rating) each rebounded form last week's lows.
The Resident's wild episode did 3.9 million viewers and a 0.8 rating.
Empire languished with 2.7 million viewers and a 0.7 rating. Remember when this show was a hit?...

Carol's Second Act: Two Writers Quit After Patricia Heaton's Husband is Accused of Sexual Misconduct
Two female writers quit CBS sitcom Carol's Second Act after allegations were leveled against executive producer David Hunt.
Hunt is married to the show's leading lady, Patricia Heaton.
Per The New York Times, Broti Gupta alleged that Hunt touched her on two occasions, with the first happening at a cast and crew dinner in August.
During that incident, Gupta alleged that Hunt hugged her from the side, before complimenting her pants and running his hand up the side of her thigh.
The writer told her boyfriend, Greg Gallant, about the incident that night, and he confirmed the conversation to the outlet.
Weeks after the alleged incident, Gupta was working while sitting next to the show's co executive-producer Margee Magee.
Hunt was said to be looking for something when he approached Gupta and took her by the shoulders and jerked her forward.

Just when the year starts to wind down, the Sundance lineup arrives to remind us of all the new movies right around the corner. But wait! Before you shout “Already?!” and hide under your desk, we’re not quite there yet: The festival drops the program for its 2020 edition after Thanksgiving weekend, which means there are still a few weeks left to enjoy the current movie season before sifting through a whole new set of options.
At IndieWire, however, we simply can’t wait that long. Over the past several months, we’ve been tracking projects in various states of production and post-production as filmmakers rush to submit their rough cuts to the festival in the hopes of making a splash at Park City in January. Our Sundance wish list contains movies that we’re excited to see, but if our research tells us that an upcoming release simply won’t be ready in time,...

The CW make an introduction to their new reality show, "13: Fear is Real" by releasing a clip from one of the episodes. Using a night vision camera, the clip shows Ted trying to look for Leah in the dark and eventually hears her screaming asking for help in the distance.
To be premiered on January 7, "13: Fear is Real" is a new show designed to evoke a person's deepest fear. Pitted against each other in situations straight from the horror movies, the 13 will face shocking surprises, psychological scares and lots of "beware of the dark" moments, all designed by a "mastermind" of terror.
In addition to frightening them, he'll also entice individuals to work in concert with him and against the others, creating a situation in which the 13 will not only look over their shoulders but will also never be certain who is real before them.

Legendary musician Jean Michel Jarre is facing legal action from his former label, over the release of his re-recorded version of hit album Oxygene.
Jarre signed a deal with British newspaper The Mail on Sunday to distribute more than 2 million copies of his Oxygene 30th Anniversary Cd to the publication's readers for free earlier this year.
But the star's former record company, Frances Dreyfus Music, subsequently threatened legal action against Jarre, distributor Emi music and the newspaper - claiming the disc does not come from a new recording, but from the original masters which are owned by the French label.
The company has now ordered Emi to appoint an independent musicologist to analyze the album to verify whether it is, indeed, a new recording - or face a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
Emi bosses have refused to confirm whether they will agree to the request but have released a statement insisting the album is very different to the original.
It reads, "We are very confident that Jean Michel Jarre's 30th Anniversary recording of Oxygene is an entirely new recording. A leading independent expert has also confirmed this. We will vigorously contest any claims to the contrary."...
