Sex & Nudity

  • It is mentioned that someone accidentally mixed up the Dutch words for "power" and "virgin", and therefore said that someone was "overcome by a sudden virgin".
  • One missionary accidentally says in Dutch that "my rear end has become quite beautiful". What he meant to say is unknown.
  • A main character does not understand a language and asks for a circumcised loaf of bread rather than a cut loaf of bread.
  • In a store, one of the main characters walks past a advertisement that shows a woman in a very revealing dress that exposes cleavage. This is very fast and was probably included accidentally.

Violence & Gore

  • One character hits another repeatedly with a cassette tape. Played for laughs.
  • A character gives another character permission to hit him any time he uses the word "flip". As a result, he is punched in the arm several times throughout the film.
  • One character hogties another, played for laughs.
  • A character tries to smash another character that is behind a door, thinking he is someone else. Played for laughs.
  • One character tackles another and crawls over him in order to get to the mail first. Played for laughs.

Profanity

  • There is no profanity used, however slang words are used.
  • "Flip" is said several times throughout the movie, and "crap" is used at least once.
  • There is also some name calling, such as "moron".

  • A character adds a bottle of wine to his basket while shopping. Another removes it and puts it back on the shelf.

  • A character wonders out loud what his newly married ex-girlfriend is doing. Another character informs him that she is likely still asleep in bed, causing the character some distress. This is very subtle, and children will likely not understand the reference as there is no elaboration.
