Roopa Ganguly regretted signing the film. She liked Tariq Shah's script so she agreed to do the film. Later she realised signing a film with small actors like Tariq and Sumeet Saigal hurt her career.
Aap Ke Pehlu Mein Akar Ro Diye" from MERA SAAYA (1966) and "Ek Din Hasna Jo Chaha" in BAHAAR AANE TAK (1990) sounds the same.
"Kali Teri Choti Hain" had remixed Punjabi version in the album Extra Hot 8 Bhangra Remixes. "DCS Express" by DCS (Shin). DCS were music directors of Raunaq (1993) and sang a song in Marc Zuber movie "Cricketer"
Kaali Tere Choti later had a Punjabi version in the album Essential Ragga composed by Bally Sagoo in 1992. The song was titled "Kali Teri Gut " sung by Cheshire Cat.
Roopa Ganguly was extremely upset with the producers T Series. She felt they were too busy promoting the singers and music director of the film ,but not the star-cast. The pictures of the star-cast were inside the audio cassette cover. She felt after Mahabharat the Indian audience were curious to see her in a movie and T Series did not cash in on her currently popularity.
