Effective German TV drama.
Mozjoukine20 December 2004
Frustrated by a life of organizing her time round being the personal assistant to her culture pages editor boss, the 42 year old woman doesn't see much hope in the romantic options facing her.

Soft color and assured performances build to the enigmatic 'phone call ending.

LISA is certainly shaped by the preoccupations of the then rampant feminist ideology but is one of their more palatable offerings.

Skillfully made, on a less than feature budget using Sixteen millimeter equipment, this one was seen by eighteen million on German TV and compares favorably with most of the material produced around it.
