Intense psychological drama
magz-29 April 2005
Warning: Spoilers
An intensely harrowing psychological drama that had me glued to the screen every minute!

Garreissen plays the obsessed writer to perfection as he stumbles his way through writers block and burn out obsessed with the woman clad in black that he saw in a bar and convinced that he will never write again until he has met her and made her his 'ideal heroine.'

His obsession turns to blood lust as he becomes convinced that he and Alma were drawn together, not for life, but for their "shared deaths."

Alma seems unable to resist the pull of David's madness, and is drawn into an affair with him, leading both to tumble into a morbid obsession with death, from which David crafts his novel "GONE"

Peppered with some of the most beautiful spoken language and spliced in jerky, freeze frame flashbacks to the guilty secret that haunts Alma's life, Gone is chilling in places, but gripping from start to finish.

A must see!
