throw back to classic film making...poetic...tripy!
louismandy3 January 2005
this was cool, really , saw it in New york and it rocked , I know the mandylor brothers and this reminds me of a throw back to where film making all began, but with a very hip modern touch...Not only is the movie in a surreal black and white but it occasionally goes to colour when the main guy has been knocked out or looses blood...yeah cool...Don't know what is happening with it, might catch in ifc or the festival circuit...Hope it goes to DVD...It reminds of a low budget sin City meets on the waterfront....the thing that takes it over the top and really makes it a nice complete film, even though the budget is very minimal , the score was done by a very good composer"Cato", log on to his website ...Awsome.....So in closing ,give a budget to these guys and hey !.....It was shot in twelve working days....that is a fact and there are behind the scenes footage the DVD could be very interesting for young filmmakers....
