This is the kind of movie I love: self-destruction of a reveler! The beginning is great - you see the guy in a disco: he wants trouble and he gets trouble. The doorman kick him out and the guy is angry that they do not beat him: "Hey man I want some beat in my kisser or are you pacifists?"! On his way in the night he will meet a lot of other strange people. "The Guy" could be a idea of Martin Scorcese or Paul Schrader. Stipe Erceq is superb as the grimly, funny, lovely, aggressive guy. It is one of the best movies I saw - I like TAXI DRIVER, NIGHTSLEEPER, BRINGING OUT THE DEAD, LEAVING LAS VEGAS - this one is also brilliant! Take a night life and look THE GUY.
